An operator of a complex 24 km urban motorway network consisting mainly of critical infrastructure and 15.5 km of tunnels is responsible for traffic and incident management, as well as network maintenance.
EGIS has set up a digital operating twin, a single geolocated repository representative of the entire infrastructure. The aim is to plan and monitor maintenance operations, manage traffic and simulate critical events such as flooding. This digital twin is based on a web platform that aggregates geospatial data of all kinds to provide reliable and unique data to each user.
