Given the multiplicity of standards and their constant evolution in terms of digital transformation, integrating the compliance of data collected and processed by a digital twin must be based on an ongoing process of analyzing the lawfulness of their use. It’s an established fact: good practices depend on acquiring the right reflexes!
Focusing on the reliability of data and ensuring that it fully reflects reality is essential if the digital twin is to provide a faithful, up-to-date representation of its direct environment. Every action taken to exploit this technology relies on meticulous care to ensure the conformity of the data collected and processed. In other words, if the data collected does not comply with the various standards in force in terms of protection and respect for distribution, transfer and distribution rights, all this know-how may appear considerably weakened, or even inoperative. Clearly, the aim here is to guarantee the validity and legitimacy of the digital twin. Once this delimitation work has been carried out, the decision-making process becomes truly secure, based on legal and properly sourced information. In short, while it may seem obvious to consider this step, what’s really important here is to set up a protocol of continuous and resolutely alert reflexes, in which all negligence is excluded, for the benefit of a reading that is at once enlightened, permissible and valid on all levels.
