As part of the creation of a new 6.4 km tramway line, EGIS carried out a complete modeling of the entire urban environment, infrastructures and structures, as well as existing underground networks. This modeling was made accessible to all project participants via a collaborative BIM platform, including a geolocalized log. The use of this platform facilitated exchanges and thus understanding of the technical and integration issues with the project owner and stakeholders, as well as communication with political decision-makers, local residents and shopkeepers in the area concerned.
