A large wastewater network, having tested various digital technologies, now wishes to embark on a digital transformation to achieve four main objectives: improve wastewater efficiency, strengthen its role in urbanization, involve agents in the change process, and better manage risks.
Following an initial consultancy phase which highlighted the need for an agile and robust digital strategy, Egis has developed a strategy for the digitalization of its businesses. This strategy aims to improve the performance, safety, quality and knowledge of infrastructures.
Digital transformation is based on the digitization of assets, ensuring digital continuity thanks to electronic document management and a data aggregator. This aggregator enables the use of 3D files, data from 3D scans and georeferencing with a geographic information system (GIS). This cross-functional database enables the company to deploy its digital strategy in the fields of design, construction, operation and maintenance. Egis also carried out proofs of concept to validate the defined strategic orientations.
