Challenge<\/h3>
The project consisted in redeveloping an industrial, logistics and intermodal hub on a constrained urban block.<\/div>
The technical challenge was twofold: to integrate complex underground structures in a highly constrained urban area, and to ensure the safety and continuity of mobility flows for pedestrians, light vehicles and industrial vehicles… <\/div> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n The subsoil modelling <\/span>carried out for this project was used to validate the site’s capacity<\/span> to accommodate :

  • a district heating plant producing heating and cooling
    <\/li>\n\t
  • a vertical waste treatment center<\/li>\n
  • a waste collection center\n<\/li>
  • an urban distribution center<\/li>\n
  • a sewage sludge treatment network<\/li>\n
  • a funicular railway station<\/li>\n
  • a concrete plant and<\/li> \n

    Architecture <\/span>– Double organization of the base using multi-criteria architectural, functional and technical analyses.
    <\/p>

    Civil engineering<\/span> – Integrating the towers into the base <\/p>

    Geotechnical engineering<\/span> – Consideration of seismicity and interfaces with adjacent structures and supports <\/p>

    Hydrogeology<\/span> – Foundations in the presence of groundwater and underground flows

    Management of excavated material<\/span> – Treatment of polluted soil and disposal of excavated material
    <\/p>

    Logistics <\/span>– Flow and traffic management through dynamic simulation at access points and inside the base during construction and operation. <\/p>

    Safety <\/span>– Integrated approach to safety (industrial, public, underground) adapted to the use of each component of the base.<\/p>

    Networks <\/span>– Water, air, SSI and electricity supply to the various compartments.<\/p>

    BIM <\/span><\/span>– Collaborative design on a BIM platform
